Our story
The Candy Floss King was founded in 2014, during a difficult chapter in my life. My wife suffered a serious injury that required a long hospital recovery, and at the same time my DJ business slowed to a halt. Later, I discovered that enquiries weren’t even reaching me due to a broken email system. What could have been the end of one venture became the beginning of something new — and that’s how The Candy Floss King was born.
Since then, I’ve attended over 200 weddings, bringing a touch of nostalgia and fun to couples and their guests. Candy floss has a way of making everyone smile — from children right through to great-grandparents — and it’s become a true talking point at the events I attend.
In 2024, after copycats tried to imitate my name and logo, I made the decision to fully differentiate The Candy Floss King. I began handcrafting all 40 of my flavours in-house, ensuring originality and quality that no one else can replicate. From fruity favourites to dessert-inspired and cocktail-themed creations, every spin of candy floss is uniquely mine.
I also like to keep as much as possible in-house — from designing and maintaining my own website, to creating custom features for my stand, like the built-in monitor that displays serving times. This hands-on approach means I can deliver a service that’s not only professional but also personal, thoughtful, and completely unique.
